Is this a real High School Diploma?

A: Yes, this is a real high school diploma. The diploma you receive is accredited and nationally recognized, which makes it as real as one from your hometown high school.

Why can’t I finish in one week or one month?

A: Because this is a real high school, which means real high school coursework and a real high school diploma. We provide a quality education in a fair amount of time, not a meaningless piece of paper without any value.

Why is the registration more expensive than other online High Schools?

A: It’s more expensive because we have real instructors, relevant courses, and offer services to our students that enhance the learning experience and makes us both different and better. We also do not receive any funding from the Federal or individual State governments or their taxpayers, so we have to pay the costs of teaching so many students and delivering a quality education in an online and accessible environment.

How do I hit the reset button of life?

A: By enrolling in American Central On-line high school and becoming one of our successful graduates.

What is accreditation & why is it important?

A: Accreditation is basically a method of making sure a school is following a set of educational standards. It’s important to you because earning an accredited high school diploma allows for ease in transferring credits, accessing federal loans and scholarships, and meeting the requirements of colleges and military institutions. As an added benefit, it holds an institution responsible for overall student performance and accountability.

Do I need any special equipment or software for classes?

A: A standard computer running at least Windows 98 or greater is required. You will also need to download Flash Player 8+, the latest Adobe Reader software, and (for selected coursework) Sun JVM 1.4+.

Still wondering if your computer can handle it? Check your computer by running our system check now!

Do you offer financial assistance?

A: You’ll find the help you need at the Academic Support Center where certified teachers are dedicated to your success. You’ll be assigned an Academic Coach who will be your career partner during your enrollment in ACHS.
